Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-682 is to be contained within a specially designed containment chamber at all times. The chamber must be constructed of reinforced steel and concrete, with a 5-meter electrified fence surrounding it. The chamber must be equipped with automated defense systems, including high-powered weaponry and acid sprayers, to neutralize SCP-682 in the event of a containment breach.
Regular physical and psychological testing of SCP-682 is to be conducted under the supervision of at least three Level 4 personnel. Any changes in SCP-682's behavior or physical state must be reported immediately to Site Command.
SCP-682 is to be denied any form of sustenance, and all attempts to terminate or neutralize it must be approved by O5 Command. In the event of a containment breach, Protocol 682-Omega must be initiated, involving the use of SCP-076-2 (Abel) to engage and contain SCP-682 until additional containment measures can be implemented.
Description:
SCP-682 is a large, reptilian creature of unknown origin, measuring approximately 6 meters in length and weighing several tons. It possesses an incredibly durable and regenerative physiology, making it nearly impossible to destroy through conventional means. SCP-682's skin is highly resistant to damage from physical, chemical, and thermal sources, and it is capable of rapidly healing from even the most severe injuries.
SCP-682 is highly aggressive and has demonstrated advanced intelligence and adaptability, making it one of the most dangerous SCPs in Foundation custody. It has displayed the ability to communicate through vocalizations and has expressed a strong desire for violence and destruction.
SCP-682 is capable of breaching containment through sheer brute force or through cunning manipulation of its environment. It has escaped containment on multiple occasions, resulting in significant casualties and widespread destruction.
Despite numerous attempts to terminate or neutralize SCP-682, including exposure to SCP-173 (The Sculpture) and SCP-689 (Haunter in the Dark), all such efforts have been unsuccessful. SCP-682 has consistently survived and adapted to various termination attempts, leading some researchers to speculate that it may be effectively immortal.
