Object Class: Euclid
Description:
SCP-173 is a humanoid statue composed of concrete and rebar, measuring approximately 2 meters in height. Traces of Krylon brand spray paint are present on its surface, primarily in a shade of rust red. Despite its stationary appearance, SCP-173 displays hostile behavior towards humans.
Behavior:
SCP-173 moves closer to a person without making a single change in its structure, when the line of sight is broken. The objective behind getting closer is to snapping the neck (right at the base of the skull) of the target. This behaviour is still unknown to the SCP Foundation as its origin. It is suggested to all the personnels to maintain direct eye contact with SCP-173 upon encounter.
It is reported that SCP-173 generates a stone scraping noise while moving, which is due to the bottom of the statue causing a friction against the ground beneath.
The reddish brown substance found on the floor of the containment cell of SCP-173 is a combination of feces and blood. Origin of these materials is unknown.
Location:
Singleplayer: Typically SCP-173 can be found in its containment chamber in the intro sequence of the game. Other than that there are various different rooms which spawns SCP-173 when the player is nearby.
Multiplayer: SCP-173 directly spawns in the attached hallway of the Storage Bathroom.
Special Note:
Players need to maintain eye contact with SCP-173 in order to survive. However there exists a blink meter which indicates how long will it take the player to blink next. The player will find SCP-173 getting closer with each blinks.
Typically 'Space Bar' is used for manual blinking which can be changed in the game settings.
